This is the outer wall of the San Cristobal Fortress in Old San Juan. The scale is hard appreciate here. I loved the colors and play of shapes and textures.

Part of the coastline seen from the fortress lookout. It's interesting that, in OSJ, the poorest neighborhoods are closest to the water. In the US, these would be million dollar properties.

The El Convento staff heard it was our anniversary (gee, I wonder who told them that?) so they made a rose petal heart on our bed one night. So romantic.
