Bedouin camp. The Bedouins are technically nomads but they have hunkered down to such a degree that Israel is running sewer and water to them.
The food was great but the coffee was even better. I really miss that coffee.

Cedar timbers from under the Temple Mount near the East Gate. Since Herod's temple burned, it seems likely these would post-date that. But where would such large cedar timbers come from? Hmmmm
Another view of the huge cedar timbers left out in the open (why?). Are these timbers that Hiram supplied to Solomon? Unlikely, though it was left fallow, Herod's temple which followed it was burned. It seems unlikely that these timbers would have come from there. They are very long and wide so they were certainly imported ages ago.
