I like to work with couples who appreciate good photography and put a very high value on getting the best photographs they can.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many years of experience do you have?
As I'm now in my late 40's and built my own dark room when I was young ... ummm ... too many! However, I am just now getting the wedding business started and the next few weddings that I photograph will be either free or at a huge discount because I will plan to use those to build my portfolio and my client-fan base.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use only the highest quality Canon professional equipment. My preferred camera body is the 5D Mark II and my lenses include: 24mm f/1.4 L, 50mm f/1.2 L, 85mm f/1.2 II L and the 70-200mm L IS II.
What is your payment policy?
At the time of booking, I will collect a $200 retainer to reserve your date. The retainer is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to your wedding then the rest of the full amount of the payment a week before your wedding day.
How do you protect the digital files?
They are immediately transferred from storage cards to Macbook and to two separate NAS (network attached storage) drives so that at least three copies of the originals exist. Final images are delivered to you on multiple disks as well as being uploaded to a secure web gallery where you and your family can access them at any time.
What happens after the wedding?
I backup all the originals and then post the proofs to the online gallery for you to review and comment (privately online). The rest is up to you and what you'd like to receive but in all cases, I want you to get what you want from your photography.
Do you contract out to other photographers?
Nope. I may have a "second shooter" to make sure that we get every important moment we can but I will be your primary photographer.
